I can do Latex commands for x^2 and x^3 by using x² and x³, but when I try :xsup4 or any exponent higher than 4, it comes out wrong. What is the proper LaTex code for say, x^5? I've searched here and by Googling.

Hi,

Please see ' LaTeX - A Crash Course' in 'Help me' topic.

x², x³ etc. are useful symbols in the forum (a shortcut).

In LaTeX, it is
