When learning about vector spaces, I came accross this pdf:

For simplicity, we adopt the following convention: x is a set, i is a natural number,G1 is an add-associative right zeroed right complementable Abelian associative left unital distributive non empty double loop structure,V is an Abelian add-associative right zeroed right complementable vector space-like non empty vector space structure over G1, v, v1, v2, v3 are elements of V, a, b are elements of G1, F, G are finite sequences of elements of the carrier of V, A, B are subsets of V, and f is a function from the carrier of V into the carrier of G1.

Simplicity? Yea... right...

I closed that document faster than a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

"In the real world, this would be a problem. But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist. So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

The Chuck site is funny:

"When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris."

"Chuck Norris counted to infinity - twice."

"Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door."

"The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman

I think my favorite is:

"In an average living room there are 1,242 objects Chuck Norris could use to kill you, including the room itself."

"In the real world, this would be a problem. But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist. So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

Chaos is found in greatest abundance wherever order is being saught. It always defeats order, because it is better organized.
