Basic Fractions Exercises

These exercises should be quite easy. Hopefully you'll find some good material in here. Be careful not to think of 1/3 as 1 divided by 3 - Think of it as a third, or one over three.

1. 2 ½ + 1 ¼ =
2. 3 1/3 + 2 2/3 =
3. 4 ½ + 2 2/3 =
4. 1 2/3 + 3 5/8 =
5. 4 3/5 + 2 3/4 =
6. 5 2/5 - 2 2/3 =
7. 4 1/8 - 2 5/6 =
