Hi;

The most important constant in mathematics, even more so than pi. Called Euler's number even though it was discovered by one of the Bernoulli's.

When you substitute x = 1 into the following sderies you get e.

To see much more go here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_%28mathe … onstant%29

e has special meaning to me because it was what got me started. I saw this article in Byte magazine by the legendary Steve Wozniak.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Hi;

and i got the result with this sign so wanted to know what does it really mean.

In what way?

Really? how?

I fell in love with getting digits of constants.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

well,i was calculating the value of 9^9^9 which contains several million digits.

it is said that it would take around a year for a person to really read that entire number.

Hi,

9^9^9 has

digits, which would take much more than a year to read!"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" - Buddha?

"Data! Data! Data!" he cried impatiently. "I can't make bricks without clay."

A fellow I know went after 9^9^9^9, he failed.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

so i will better not try to read that number at least now.....

hahahaha

It is large but you can still do calculations on it.

Actually, it is a perfect exercise for people who are young.

Try to get the first 10 digits if you can.

Okay, then try to get the first 100 digits.

What will you use to do the computation?

That is the first digits of e, I have given her a tougher problem.

Get the first 100 digits of 9^9^9 which should be easy for you.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Does it mean 9^(9^9)?

Are you asking for 9^(9^9) mod 10^100

Yes, it means 9^(9^9).

Nope, that would get the last 100 digits.
