Re: value of 'e'

Hi;

The most important constant in mathematics, even more so than pi. Called Euler's number even though it was discovered by one of the Bernoulli's.

When you substitute x = 1 into the following sderies you get e.

To see much more go here:

e has special meaning to me because it was what got me started. I saw this article in Byte magazine by the legendary Steve Wozniak.

In what way?

Really? how?

I fell in love with getting digits of constants.

Re: value of 'e'

well,i was calculating the value of 9^9^9 which contains several million digits.
it is said that it would take around a year for a person to really read that entire number.

Re: value of 'e'

Hi,

9^9^9 has

digits, which would take much more than a year to read!

It is large but you can still do calculations on it.

That is the first digits of e, I have given her a tougher problem.

Get the first 100 digits of 9^9^9 which should be easy for you.

Re: value of 'e'

Does it mean 9^(9^9)?

Are you asking for 9^(9^9) mod 10^100

Re: value of 'e'

Yes, it means 9^(9^9).

Nope, that would get the last 100 digits.
