Log

Hi, quick question.

Is there a difference in notation when I say :

(log8(x))^2

and

log8(x)^2

Is it different ??? Thank you !

Hi;

The parentheses is not necessary, the log operator has precedence.


In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
