Re: time's table short poemsas annoying as this is, it might be a great way to teach really little kids their multiplication tables. You might be able to get a 3 year old to learn them with this! And then we can teach them calculus when they're four. A logarithm is just a misspelled algorithm. #7 20060223 14:36:15
Re: time's table short poemsYeah. That's why I'm doing this. I figure some kid might actually like them. Or even my nieces. They will be learning there times tables in a few more years, and they are very good at remembering songs and singing, so they might like this idea. igloo myrtilles fourmis #8 20060223 14:39:16
Re: time's table short poemsThree times four, bee door, small for elves, twelve. igloo myrtilles fourmis #9 20060223 14:41:45
Re: time's table short poemsI think I am reverting into a child. I spelt "their" as "there". How careless. igloo myrtilles fourmis #10 20060223 15:11:50
Re: time's table short poemsI do that all the time. A logarithm is just a misspelled algorithm. #11 20060223 19:02:18

Re: time's table short poemsWe have a lot to go if we do everything from 2x2 to 9x9. igloo myrtilles fourmis #16 20060224 17:23:10
Re: time's table short poemsComing up with alternates is a good idea since someone reading these might prefer one over another, so keep'm comin'... The more the better. A really catchy one could really be useful for someone. My Dad is really good verbally, but not so with math, and he thinks this is a great idea. Of course the ones I'm coming out with might not be that good, so feel free to do any over. igloo myrtilles fourmis #17 20060224 18:09:58

Re: time's table short poemsHey, John E. Franklin! I play the clarinet too! A logarithm is just a misspelled algorithm. #24 20060225 10:03:16
Re: time's table short poemsAwesome! There are 24 keys on the clarinet and the register key makes the tone go up 19 semitones (halfsteps) or an octave plus a fifth! Vandoren Selects, my favorite reed. Can't get them in the stores, I get the Selects online. igloo myrtilles fourmis #25 20060225 10:09:53
