### Re: The new dice pdf is out!

I have found a way to get rid of the GF, but it introduces a nasty sum.

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

What is the sum?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Maybe it can be simplified further.

### Re: The new dice pdf is out!

But that will not help as much as you think.

Hi gAr;

Sorry, did not see you up there.

I think we can't approximate it using e^(5x), since we are using coefficients beyond  the upper limit of the egf.

I agree, it did not work.

Hi bobbym,

No problem.
I couldn't find a continuous distribution to approximate it. It's doubtful that a simplification exists, CAS is failing to guess, what more is left?!

Yes, I too must be lucky to find a formula for this!
