Re: A few questions10^44 is a 45 digit number. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #178 20130211 01:23:52
Re: A few questionsYes, yes, I get it 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: A few questionsYou can use Taylor's series to get log(5), but it will require a little bit of calculus. Last edited by bobbym (20130211 02:15:30) In mathematics, you don't understand things. Re: A few questionsHi Agnishom;
For people like me who are geometrically challenged this problem is a nightmare. So far I have come up with 10^16 different possible drawings that to me fit those constraints.
Maybe I shouldn't need the diagram... Last edited by bobbym (20130315 18:08:18) In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
