Math Nerds do it better
'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'The whole person changes, why can't a habit?' -65 #2 2013-01-03 16:29:51
Re: Math Nerds do it betterI want to kiss you 720 times! Star members have too many stars. So, if I congratulate new star members, so, that means I need more stars for my picture? #3 2013-01-03 21:44:01

Re: Math Nerds do it betterHi scientia; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #6 2013-01-05 04:29:50
Re: Math Nerds do it better
Of course I don't mind. Go ahead.
Thanks bobbym. I know I can do that, but I don't have to. I do want to see images, avatars and smileys – and I don't have to be forced to turn them off just because one poster delights in inserting 100 smileys in every post he makes. Besides, I think you'll agree that too many smileys in one post are not a pretty sight; they also make the thread difficult to read. Re: Math Nerds do it betterQ: Why did the mathematical tree fall down? #12 2013-01-06 01:14:46
Re: Math Nerds do it betterQ: Why does the mathametician love forests? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: Math Nerds do it betterQ: How could the mathematician count the branches of his favorite trees and discover that the number was 2 less than a power of two?
