A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemThis needs to be simplified. I need the work and answer. THANKS A TON!! I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #2 2012-09-06 06:47:50
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemHi SlowlyFading; If you saw the problem I worked through in the previous post then you should have some idea how to do this. In fact this one is easier than that one. What is on the top that is the exact same as what is on the bottom? Then you can cross them out. Give it a try. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #3 2012-09-07 03:38:12
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemI have a very slight idea of how to do these.. Barely. I'm very bad with these type of problems. I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #4 2012-09-07 06:12:39
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemDo you see the (2x-3) expression? They even have bracketed it for you. Let's start right there. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #5 2012-09-08 07:05:44
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemI need to simplify it? By adding those terms together? I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #6 2012-09-08 07:08:36

Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemI don't know how to do that.. I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #8 2012-09-11 06:20:07
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemHi; Now just take what is left after you replace each crossed out (2x-3) with a 1 In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #9 2012-09-12 06:05:55

Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemHi SlowlyFading; If you replace the first (2x-3) that is crossed out by a 1 you would get. You try the next one. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #12 2012-09-13 05:03:42
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemSo, Except the "3" should be the first number in the equation. I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #13 2012-09-13 05:04:43
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemI really don't know how to do this as you can see. I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #14 2012-09-13 07:12:52
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemThat is okay, I will show you how. You replace the with a one. I have done the next part you try the last part. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #15 2012-09-18 06:07:09
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemSo, I don't know how to insert that dot you have in your posts so I just slept out "dot" instead I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #16 2012-09-18 06:09:38

Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemThat second "dot" wasn't meant to be there, my bad. I'm just here to get some help with an online math course I'm taking. #19 2012-09-27 07:02:13
Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemHi; Let's look at this again. 3 * 1 = 3. What does x * 1 equal? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #20 2012-09-29 04:10:30

Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials ProblemHi; That is correct, now there is one more bit of simplification. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
