Gilligan's Island was live action. Cartoons are cartoons.
Although cartoons come in a variety of ways, they are almost limitless. Live action is not although it gives a greater perception of reality.

Hmmm... in all the Marvel the cartoons I watch there is always a Tony Stark.
Except for Wolverine & the X-Men. But Beast is usually there.
Wait, by adding that etc. you're pretty much including everyone in the Marvel universe. If they weren't in the cartoons, it wouldn't be a Marvel cartoon.
