### Re: The RRA

What strange things? What condition can be broken here?

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

### Re: The RRA

Apparently the RRA works by using 1/2 of the original series. This series already decreases by a factor of 1/2.

How do you mean 1/2 of the original series?

Just one question. Why do you use a minus after the ellipsis?

I see it for alternating series. It is better in my opinion than +...

But it doesn't make any sense if you show it to somebody who has never seen that notation before and doesn't use it.

Back to the matter at hand...Any other series?Or do you still want to discuss this one?

How many terms are required for 15 digit accuracy and can you reduce that?

Hi bobbym

The first approximation is 31 terms.Let me do RRA on it.

### Re: The RRA

hi bobbym

With RRA we get a bigger approximation. Is that supposed to happen? Is that why you gave me this one?

Can you now explain what happened there?

### Re: The RRA

The series is decreasing by a power of 3, the acceleration is a power of 2 so it is naturally slower.
