In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.

True. Our paths have wandered erratically without crossing for some time.
I've also been elsewhere. Firstly, I went to New Zealand for a touring holiday. We stopped over at Singapore on the way out. My posts to MIF forum were somewhat limited by availability of wi fi and an i-pod. I found it really hard even just typing without errors and diagrams were out completely. As you may have noticed that makes most of my help impossible as I have a high diagram rate in posts.
Then we went to visit my grandson, James, and his parents. There's a picture in another thread. I'm sure you can track it down.
Then I got 'promoted' to moderator. Suddenly, there's a heap of new things to learn about.
And I've bought a new laptop, which means I have a daily battle making it bend to my will!

Hope you had a good holiday.I saw the picture of James in the other thread.He's very cute! And congrats again on the promotion, hope you have an easy time learning the new stuff!
