but i'm not sure who you were giving the question to.everyone?it seems too easy to be to anyone.a single person?seems odd because there would be a reference (probably in the form hi <name>)

I just met this problem in the Guardian newspaper and came up with this way of dissecting the diagram.

Couldn't find an answer elsewhere so I just thought I'd show it here.

To make it into a general rigorous proof, it needs some work, but I think it stands up ok.
