hi Stefy,

You want me to tell you the answer?

Hint: Can you see the two squares?

If you move stuff about (colour coding) what do you get?

hi bob

i see what you get and it's

but i'm not sure who you were giving the question to.everyone?it seems too easy to be to anyone.a single person?seems odd because there would be a reference (probably in the form hi <name>)

hi Stefy,

I just met this problem in the Guardian newspaper and came up with this way of dissecting the diagram.

Couldn't find an answer elsewhere so I just thought I'd show it here.

To make it into a general rigorous proof, it needs some work, but I think it stands up ok.
