Strange...
Recently, I've been typing posts giving long explanations of how to do something and after all that work, the forum doesn't let me submit it. I've got around the problem by sending a random one-word post, then editing it with my real post, but still... odd. Has this happened to anyone else?
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

I think I've figured out what's happening. Whenever I use the symbol ≈, copied and pasted from the top, in a post then it doesn't like it. I have no idea why that is.
But that's fine, because I can just use ≈ [asymp with :] instead.

OK, probably just general vagaries. Maybe something to do with something that sends something that something else doesn't like.

It has happened to me on several occasions, but it seems more prevalent when using the "Post reply" screen than the small quick post area.
It has happened enough that I now copy the contents of my post before attempting to send it in case that it disappears. I think that it has something to do with the amount of time spent composing a post. Like some sort of session times out before posting actually takes place.
