Re: Limits!Hi gAr; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #81 2011-06-30 00:03:52

Re: Limits!I have reported many problems to both Mathematica and Maple. I was a beta tester for Mupad. These experiences left me with bad feeling for reporting errors. They do not listen. Re: Limits!Did not mean to sound so negative. Perhaps it is not as bad as I see it. Just seems that everything has become so commercialized. Only money counts and how to get it as quickly as possible. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Limits!Ugh, I wrote z there? "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" - Buddha? "Data! Data! Data!" he cried impatiently. "I can't make bricks without clay." |
