How are you all? I hope you're all OK. I haven't used the internet for about ten million years, apart from being forced to use it at school, and the internet is the only way I can know if you are.
I hope that there was a huge Drama on the news about hurricane Wilma, because I was there, and it was hardly anything! We filmed most of it, and all it is basically a banana tree waving about and a few seconds of rain. When I got back, all my friends were all: "Rora! Thank God you're all right," and I was like......ummm........what? So I exaggerated badly to them, and they believed me, and it was very funny to see their expressions when I told them I was only joking.
Bonfire night has started early over here; the fireworks started going off about five days ago. It's quite pathetic, because I was just reading this novel I have to read for an exam, and this tiny little firework went off on its own, and it looked really, really stupid. Apparently, Newcastle is the second worst place for early bonfire nights.
Oh, and I have a pet snake. It's called slinky.

Yep. Zach's weird because he thinks he's a ferret (hence the snake shuddering), Rod's weird because he called me a force of nature, justlookingforthemoment is weird because she not only chose a really long name, but she also doesn't have a signature and I don't know where to start explaining why insomnia's weird.

I liked it ... quite amazing historical stuff about Jesus, Da Vinci, etc. It is mix of fact and fiction.

Apparently the ideas in the book have been talked about for a while, so Dan Brown thought "I will tie it all together into a novel". It was reasonably successfull, and just when sales were going down, religious people said "Don't read it, is is full of nasty lies", so sales went up again!!

I still haven't got around to reading it...and we even have it at home.

When everyone was talking about it, I thought, I'll wait for the hype to stop and then see what it is all about. Except I never got around to it. Maybe I should.

It didn't change mine. I thought it was an Ok story. The primary focus of the book was the ideas and history, and not the story, which really watered it down for me since it seems based less on history and more on myth. (How big is the difference?)

Angles and Demons (the book he wrote first but no one had heard of until after) was way better. Highly suspenseful, with tons of interesting places and info about them. The only one of his where I didn't guess the ending.
