HelloI am a female, who is mathematically challenged. Last edited by survival (2011-05-08 18:49:17) #2 2011-04-04 10:33:13
Re: HelloHi survival;
You are not alone. Lots of people have that feeling too. I do not know about schools in other countries but I know about schools here. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #3 2011-04-04 16:40:41

Re: HelloHi;
Now, why on earth would you want to do that? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #5 2011-04-04 17:18:22
Re: HelloBecause I have too many college books. Math is mental labor. I have to sleep. Tomorrow is classes all the way till dark. Have a great week. Last edited by survival (2011-05-08 18:44:39) #6 2011-04-04 17:24:13

Re: HelloHi all;
What!!!!??? How could you have missed my activity here or anywhere else for that matter? The bobbym's will soon rule the internet. They will have hundreds of millions of posts. Almost half of those posts will be correct answers. That is pretty good.
Here is what you do. Buy a big bookcase and put them all in there. Now all your future dates will know your are brainy, a tremendous enticement.
You are working too hard. Just black out when doing math. Let the answers just float into your head. Listen to the chorus of math. Soon it will sound like a giant symphony. No, like 10 symphonies, all playing at once. This is what I do, I call it "Transcendental math." Remember almost half right? So it works pretty good for me. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #9 2011-04-05 14:36:54

Re: Hello
You mean the post box was too small to contain it? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. Re: HelloHi;
Yes, posting, posting and more posting. The first to reach 10^7 digit post totals, that is my goal.
Better make that 10^8. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #15 2011-05-08 00:47:21

Re: HelloHello again. I am a repeat, not new member. It is after 6:30 am on the East Coast and i am just now thinking of going to sleep. I am also in a talkative mood, and lost the random chatter thing. I searched and did not find it. #18 2011-08-14 20:52:46

Re: HelloHi bobbym, I am okay I guess. Getting ready for school. NC had a tax free weekend (last) as they usually do, before fall semester/any school, starts in Aug. I didn't know I'd need a printer, so much for saving money. #20 2011-08-15 21:01:42
Re: HelloHi;
So he is both older and younger? That is a good trick. You have a choice now. Is he older on the weekdays and younger on the weekends? Or is it odd and even days? He sounds like a lustrous hair puller.
Checking up on me are you? Hmmmm. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
