Re: Mathematical terms in other languages

I teach high school math.  I'm trying to help a Norwegian foreign exchange student stay current on what she's missing back home.

What is "binomiske og hypergeometriske"   ?

Re: Mathematical terms in other languages

Hi Big Mike;

Maybe Binomial and/or Hypergeometric distributions or models?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
