How much did a dishwasher orginally cost if a 35% profit was made and the buyer paid $670?

Is this how you would set it up?

(x)(.35) + x = 670, if x is the original cost of the dishwasher?

Thanks.

Yes, that's it exactly. Simplifying it:

1.35x = 670

x =~ $496.30
