Re: Word Play 13

Although it is meaningless to do so, In America you have the right to speak your mind.

how can you not like him?

Whether he is doing a good job or not is something you can never know.

Re: Word Play 13

I figured that much, but I wasn't the one voting. So the question is... did you get sucked in to his persuasive argument?
Although I still think he's pretty cool.

Well good for you. If he ever wants to run for election in Australia then you can vote for him.

I will, our Pollies are so boring. Although I quite like Julia, we share some beliefs. She gets so much bad publicity, though. But it doesn't matter much because the opposition leader is an idiot.

Couldn't it be 'live agents' instead.

I support Obama, I don't see what's so terrible.

Yeah, thanks soroban, this is probably my favorite one of these Word Plays.

Re: Word Play 13

I support him too, he is the President.

Unfortunately and I was careful about this, when he took office the price of milk for instance was 2.19 a gallon. It is now 3.49 a gallon. Gasoline has similarly skyrocketed. A loaf of slice bread was 88 cents and is now 1.09. Everything has now approached the previous administration in price. He claims to support the poor. Well, welfare and disability have had their benefits frozen for 4 years! He claims because there has been no cost of living raise. This is obviously false. Same income and everything up by 50% or more.

Health bill ineffective, no change in how doctors are treating patients and in what they are charging. Medicare and Medicaid tardy in paying those doctors.

Destruction of our environment by BP in the gulf while he sat back and did nothing except allow them to just walk away unscathed. Money pulled from needed social problems and loaned to George Soros and his other zillionaire buddies so they could get richer in South America.

So where is the change?

How can I accurately explain something that I don't remember typing?
