How to make 1 = 0 mathematically?Hi, #2 2008-08-16 07:01:32
Re: How to make 1 = 0 mathematically?try searching google for "1=2", that is the 'proof' u r looking for. Your teacher just tweaked it a bit to make it 1=0. Last edited by careless25 (2008-08-16 07:03:37) #3 2008-08-16 07:05:20

I do agree with that and i have noticed that most math teachers arent that geat at english and this may cause students to misinterpret or just totaly blank out.

Re: How to make 1 = 0 mathematically?This is an old method of proving 2=1 (has got one mistake in it- you should be able to find it) #8 2009-09-09 02:42:42
Re: How to make 1 = 0 mathematically?Hi Calvin;
Right there, division by (a-b), and a - b = 0 Last edited by bobbym (2009-09-09 02:43:37) In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. |
