#1227 Re: Dark Discussions at Cafe Infinity » Everything » 2014-04-26 03:56:55

Yes, that michio kaku guy is bringing it up again. What would happen if we are really just holograms?

#1228 Re: Dark Discussions at Cafe Infinity » Everything » 2014-04-26 03:50:02

Did you guys heard about those "celebrity physicist" saying our universe is just a hologram?

#1229 Re: Dark Discussions at Cafe Infinity » Everything » 2014-04-26 03:33:45

Idk... I guess the next Albert Einstein will explain more...

Go to Wikipedia, search for time dilation, spacetime, gravity, time travel, time and relativity

I asked "if time is linear or not?". Because I think time is not fundamental. I don't believe we could go back in time if time is just "change"

#1232 Re: Dark Discussions at Cafe Infinity » Everything » 2014-04-25 01:01:03

2. An universe is one continuous fabric of space-time.
Define what is a "theory". Einstein said that the universe is one continuous fabric of space-time, what if it is not?

3. Define everything. Also tell me how did you figure out that everything was created.
Everything is something everything... I didn't figure out that everything was created. Where does energy come from if it can't be created nor destroyed?

4. Nothing is indeed something.
You can't have nothing without something. You can't have darkness without light.

5. With respect to what? The concept of time varies from observer to observer.
Time is "change" Time is create by humans. I believe time is not fundamental but rather an illusion.
That's why I asked is time linear?

We have a world to live in because we have a world. Why you can't answer? XD

#1234 Re: Puzzles and Games » Math quizzes » 2014-04-25 00:26:39

4) Using only the numbers 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 0. Find which number goes with each of the letter in the addition problem below to make it correct. PAK = MAK = PIUT (I got this question for someone, I don't have a answer.)

5) Solve 200520062007^2 - 200520062006 x 200520062008 = (You are not allowed to use a calculator!)

That's all for now.

Why we have a world to live in? A universe. What is the universe? Who created everything? Why nothing is something? Is time linear? Is... I have lots of questions...

I love this site! It's full of people like me big_smile

btw, it's the largest to the smallest*

#1238 Re: Puzzles and Games » Math quizzes » 2014-04-25 00:06:21

Yes. Hmm...
3) Let 0 < y < 1. If A = y, B = y^2, C = 1/y and D = 1/y^2 arrange them from the largest to the smallest value.

How to do the message thing btw?

#1239 Re: Puzzles and Games » Math quizzes » 2014-04-24 23:55:56

Yes, both of you are correct.

2) Let n and k be two positive integers such that k is less than n. It is know that (1+2+3+4+...+n)+k = 101. fFind k.

Hey all,
I decided to create a math quizzes that everyone on the forum can answer.

1) Let ABCD be a parallelogram where E is a point between AB such that 3BE = 2DC The lines CE and BD intersect at the point Q. If the area of <DQC is 36. Find the area of <BQE.

More to come...

Navy blue is a bit lighter. There are 2 versions of royal blue, I like the tranditional version.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, the thing is I'm still in middle school and also I'm sleeping in class because I had gone through my textbooks already that's why I need a book to read from...

Don't think migrating a forum that big is easy at all. It might take months of planning, why not give the theme a upgrade? And add mathjax in?

#1250 Re: Help Me ! » Suggest me a good book to study math and physic » 2014-04-23 00:33:09

I'm learning algebra and geometry right now. I planned to learn from the basics all the way to the advanced levels, I'm done with the basics now...
