A window cleaner carries a uniform 60-lb ladder 15 ft long, at one end of which a bucket of water weighing 40 lb is hung. At what point must he support the ladder to carry it horizontally? Where is the center of gravity of his load?
(This problem is taken from chapter 4 of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark. )

You're welcome.
The above limit equals 1 / 2 . But the limit is very difficult to handle.

That's because you're calculating the LCM of the two numbers, and when you're calculating the LCM you want to be as economical as possible with their common prime divisors. In general, suppose

So (i) and (iii) are true.
Q: Why did the mathematical tree fall down?
A: Because it had no real roots.
It would be 72° if all the rays were in the same plane. Judging from the word "challenging" in the thread title, I'd assume the OP wanted the rays to be spread out in 3D space.
I have absolutely no idea.
Well, let's hope so.
Sorry if I seem to be too whiney about it. Also, sorry I mistyped your name earlier. It really was a genuine typo.
Do you mind me inserting images?
Of course I don't mind. Go ahead. I was referring to the excessive and unnecessary use of smileys, not to the posting of images.
To alleviate the load you can go into Display in profile and uncheck some of the things you have checked. This will bring pages in quicker.
Thanks bobbym. I know I can do that, but I don't have to. I do want to see images, avatars and smileys and I don't have to be forced to turn them off just because one poster delights in inserting 100 smileys in every post he makes. Besides, I think you'll agree that too many smileys in one post are not a pretty sight; they also make the thread difficult to read.
Substitute

then rearrange to the form I gave in my hint.
Not that difficult, I hope?
@julianthemath
I notice that you're very fond of inserting smileys in your posts. Please don't insert too many smileys per post. Too many smileys slow down the loading of the page for users with slow connection, not to mention the fact that they make the thread very difficult to read.
I'm on mobile broadband so my Internet connection speed is extremely fickle, depending on the volume of traffic. When there are too many people using the Internet and bandwidth is limited, a page with too many unnecessary smileys may be almost impossible to download for me. (Also I'm on PAYG so I have to pay for every byte of data I download the more smileys, the larger the byte-size of the page, meaning the more I have to pay.)
Your co-operation will be appreciated.
