Well, I've never really had problems with talking to people, being together with them or whatever. I do, however, have/have had a problem in common with you:How can you trust people?.. I guess the simple, yet confusing, answer has to be: You can't, but you have to... You can never know if people are telling the truth, but you have to give them a chance. If you don't, you won't ever have any friends. How old are you btw?
I have no idea what GCSE MOCK exams is, but I got an A (all answers answered correctly) in my chemestry/physics test
Has anyone noticed the smiley face?
I did, and I thought it was my imagination.
I won't give it away, I'll let you keep looking!!
the one at the end of your post?
<3 is little girls text message version of a heart
haha, nice one
Is it a little boy? if it is, I think I've seen it too
1/5th? I have no idea

I believe you're talking about Daniel Tammet, and the siezure your talking about is from epilepsy. I saw this documentary about him some time ago. He could calculate, what I would consider hard calculations, in his head. If he was to multiply 20342342 by 2394028340, he would see the two numbers as shapes, and graduately start to decypher the shape that was formed between these two shapes. That shape would then represent 48700143249972280. When it comes to pi, he had a very special 'relationship' to the number. He explained it as a landscape of mountains, where the gaps would represent a digit. Some expert in the field of brain analasys(or whatever they were) did a study on him, and found out what they thought to be the answer to the mystery. During that siezure he had when he was little, connections were made between two parts of the brain. One which handles maths, logic, etc. and one that handles emotions. .. That's how I remember it anyway
I guess what that means is, that he is actually doing the calculations in his head, but because of that connection that has been made, he's not aware of what exactly he's doing, he just feels the result.
*edit* That site also holds records in digits of
and eWell, I think I can beat the 6 year old (the one with 20 digits)
I saw a video on youtube or something, the other day, from a classroom. It was math class(basicly 19/20 were asian), and in the background, some guy was reciting alot(!!) of pi digits
Proximity is a very funny game imo!
Sure is MathsIsFun(Rod is it?) - you should make a check-box where you could enable/disable that option though..
*edit* just tried it, and I have to say good job! I think what you're doing, with this site in general, is very admirable! Keep up the good work, I really do believe it helps people out with learning how to use math, logic, and whatever comes with that. Thumbs up! [/suckUp](I do mean it tho )
how so?
Which of these square numbers is also the sum of two smaller square numbers?
How can you get a smaller square number,x, than any randomly chosen square number, y, by subtracting 0?
I don't get it? Isn't this just a 'pyramid'-ish setup? In my opinion, your drawings with 100 angles were alot better
haha, your introduction made me laugh But I'm in on the 'use math as a language instead of x"(let x be your language of choice)
Well, I did very bad today.. Don't know what happened, couldn't focus AT ALL!.. Luckily this isn't a test that means anything..
Basicly, I agree with MathsIsFun. When it comes to how little girls wear, however, I have a hard time to decide what I think. One side, it should be possible for everyone to wear what they want. Exeptions do exist ofcourse, no bikinis in court, etc, etc. There is just that little twist, that short skirts, short tops, actually just all revealing clothes for girls, aren't/weren't made for girls, they were made for women to look sexually attractive. Looking sexy, is in my oppinion, not something small girls(I don't know your age Cuban, and there's no need for you to write it either) should worry about. This is where MTV comes in Well, actually just the media in general. I can totally understand why girls think it's unfair that they can't wear such clothes, because their rolemodels wear it in their videos and so on.
What I'm trying to say here, is that when adults tell you(girls) that you shouldn't wear those short skirts, it is not because they wonna be mean to you. They are aware that the clothes were made for older females, and should, in my oppinion, only be worn by them. Remember, looking good doesn't have to involve 99% of your skin being revealed!
*Edit*
Oh yeah, kinda forgot to directly answer your question. If someone decides to harm anyone, it is always their responsibility. My sister was abused(not by my father) and, obviously, no one would ever blame her, because she wore sexy clothes.
(I'm sorry for every spelling error, but I'm in a hurry(going to my final maths exam before high school in 45 minutes!), so I can't check for them now.)

only thing is, you're only allowed to move 1 line ;]
will give you..
gives
Well renjer, that's a part of the puzzle, to be able to right your wrongs.. To me it is, atleast
It is cute indeed It's an angel used by a Danish band called Mew
Are you looking for the probability to get 6? I don't quite get the question..
A guy from my class showed me a puzzle during physics, and wanted me to solve it. It went like this: Move one line, and make a valid mathematical expression. And then he drew something like this.
\/ || = |
(7 = 1 using roman(?) numbers)
The way he had learned it, was to move one of the single lines at the left side, and place it horizontally, and creating something that looked like
But instead I moved the same line, and created
\/ | ≠ |
(6 isn't equal to 1)
Of course he rushed in and said I was wrong, because he was expecting something else. The look on his face, when he realized what I had written, will stay in my head forever
(I think I should mention that this is a guy who can't take loosing, being outdone, tricked, etc. )
