   I am from India. My Name is Ravi. the user name may be misleading, it was just reversal of my name.

  I have just started to relearn my mathematics from beginning.

Hi Bobby,

Its not that I didn't learn maths in school. But it was learnt without passion and I forgot most of them.

Now I want to learn maths knowingly and want to understand really how does it make a difference in real life.

Mostly I am interested in learning
  1. To understand what maths have to be applied & where
  2. How are the real world problems solved with mathematics ( like someone is saying with physics+ maths one can find distance between sun & earth, this is just an exmaple)
  3. What is actually a research in mathemantics ( I know heard about research in physics,chemistry,computer science but don't what is research in maths)

  These things might look like applicable for very advanced math learners but these the things I mostly feel wonderful things.

I want to start from Algebra,Geometry,Matrices to any advanced level. Its a long term wish. Donno how far  I will be able to take it to.

If you have any other sources for learning maths I will be very happy to learn.

       my strong feeling : " I have not understood mathematics" in school days.

I want to understand mathematics & its real usage in science.
I would like to start learn from beginning.

Hoping for great fun in understanding maths.
