Please help - Urgent!

Hi!

I'll cut to the chase. We have the worst math teacher ever (I'm not just saying that, he's seriously the worst teacher in the world), no one in our class knows the material.  Anyway, I have this multiple choice work sheet due in 8 hours (10am EST), and can't figure out how to do any of the things on it. I think maybe #1 is C and #7 is E, but no idea haha. Here are the pages of the word sheet:

and here they are in a word document if that's any easier:

Urgent help would be very greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!! even if you only do one problem! ^_^

Thanks!!!!!

9. The graph is determined by the highest term.  If the highest term has an even power, it behaves much like x^2.  If the highest term has an odd power, it behaves much like x^3.

20. Varies jointly means that z = krp^2.  Plug in the values of z, r, and p, and solve for k.

"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."
