algebra

Hi im a senior and i'm not sure of what i've found can you tell me if you think it's correct

(2x+1)/(x+1) = (x+1+x)/(x+1) = [(x+1)/(x+1)]+[x/(x+1)] = 1+[x/(x+1)] = 1+[(x+1-1)/(x+1)]

= 1+[(x+1)/(x+1)]+[(-1/x+1)] = 1+1-(1/x+1) = 2+(-1/x+1)

thank you !! ;-)

Re: algebra

That looks correct to me. You could have made it quicker like this:

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
