why do teachers ask you questions tht can have many answers like the find x one tht was right in a sort of way but i bet a teacher would say it's wrong

I may be a douchebag to point this out but one of the pictures, the ones about the limit as x approaches 8 is wrong.
Here it is:

It says that limit of (1 / (x-8)) as x approaches 8 is infinity which is wrong because for a double-sided limit to exist then the limit from the left and the limit from the right has to be equal. If we take the limit of such function as x approaches from the left = -infinity but if we evaluate from the right then the limit is = infinity which means that the double sided limit does not exist.
But then again this is a joke...Heh

If it bothers you that much, you could always open it up in Paint and scrawl an abs and a big pair of brackets around the left side.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

I had a friend who was asked to come up to the board and "remove x" from a pair of simultaneous equations... so he just walked up and rubbed them both out! ![]()
