How BIG! Can a Hole be?

So the problem is...

How BIG! Can a Hole be?

If we cut a Hole in paper, the Hole can be any shape as I do not think it's important for this problem?

When cutting the Hole in paper I imagine we are restricted by what paper is made of? or maybe not?

So if we have some material that we cut the Hole in, with no restrictions regarding what the material is made of,can the Hole be an infinite size?

Or is there some problem regarding the size the outer of the Hole can be?

Then we have the problem when we have made the Hole,we have the Hole = H and the outer material = M,and one final variable the outside of both H and M which equals = O

Which comes to the final Question can H,M,O all be of Infinite size?
