Date and Time!

I think it'd be nice if the current Date and Time are displayed on the top of the page. wave

I don't think if it'd use up much resources (not more than all the animated avatars do.. I'm a little befuddled here as to whether they dizzy are animated by the Server or the gif is first downloaded on the user machine and then eats up IT's resources?)!

Besides the fact that a clock is available in the Sys Tray, I'd love to see one on the top of this page for the sake of Reliability and Ease!! cool
And please make the time to be displayed according to the Time Zone (and no daylight savings... rrrr what's that?)
You can choose to display GMT or the Server Time as the default choice. touched

Re: Date and Time!

And please also keep the current date–time format, i.e. year-month-day + 24hr clock, because I like this format. cool

Re: Date and Time!

The easiest would be to display your current PC time, like here: Analog and Digital Clocks Animation

I could make a small digital clock like hat.

Re: Date and Time!

Is it that displaying the "Live Time" can cause little problem with Slow Connections?

If yes, then the idea of "current PC time" is not bad at all !!

Re: Date and Time!

I am hoping to find a way to get some official time at the start, and then just count from there.

Does anyone know about querying time servers?
