I'd have no hope of reaching heaven if it were not for my Lord, I would have nothing here to turn to if it were not for His Word; if it were not for His dying upon the cruel cross, I'd have no hope of reaching heaven, everything would be but lost.
He loved though I never knew Him for He gave His life so free, now I will praise the name of Jesus throughout all eternity; He loved me when I'm sad and lonely and He cheers me when I'm blue. Oh, it makes me feel like shouting for He less my burdens, too.
I'd have no hope about tomorrow or of what the future may hold. I'd have no hope about a mansion there upon the streets of pure gold. I'd have no hope of seeing Jesus and all His glory share. I'd have no hope of reaching heaven if it were not for my Lord.
