Re: We missed it!

No one can predict the exact time of the world's end except Allah(God) the one and only God,which is the One who created the beginning and the end and the end will be when He decide so.
But He gave us some signs of the world's end before it happens.
Well I have heard about some predication that  Newton did,I think.I saw it in a science documentary about the end of the world.According to him,if I didn't got it wrong,it will be in 2012 but I don't believe in this kind of predication from people.
There are also many other predication but I don't remember them for the moment.....:(

Hi;

2012 is also the year predicted in the Mayan calendar. Prediction is easy if you are the one causing the event.

Re: We missed it!

2012. Exactly, that's the year I reckon. Unless the robots we create in the future come back and kill us, or if we come back from the future and kill ourselves, as a species, or if we send back a disease that hasn't even been discovered yet and kill ourselves. I told my mum the world will be destroyed by 2012, and she was like "Oh my God! I'm too young to die!" then I was like, "Dude, half a million babies die every year, and you think your too young to die." It's like everything is about the world dying, these days. Like, every song on the radio, every new movie. Everything on T.V. rolleyes It's not that big a deal.

You think I don't know that quote? lol Your unpredictable sometimes. I get all depressed just for this thread, and you go and make me laugh again. I guess it would be good laughing right before you die, instead of saying "I told you so."

Quite. Everything seems normal D Day. People run the street screaming. You walk outside, "Oh Armageddon, crazy people running the streets. Perfectly normal on a day like today."

Yeah, alien invasions. Unless we destroy ourselves by accident. Now I'm thinking the year 500,000,000. But we probably moved to Saturn's moon Titan by then. Unless we move to the next Solar System, if they have a sun. But we'll probably be good on Titan when the sun expands.

Hi;

That would be the best way to go. Pulverized by a more technologically advanced, intellectually greater, morally superior, physically stronger and taller, chronologically older, race of lizards.

Re: We missed it!

Lovely, bobby. Totally want to be wiped out by a race of elderly super lizards. I think Titan would make a good New Earth, but I think we should move to Alpha Centuri. Somewhere completely different for a change. Titan is so similar. I just hope we're an adaptable race. Well this would be my view, if I didn't think the Universe would be better without our race.

Re: We missed it!

elderly super lizards

That's a good one. I meant their civilization is millions of years older than ours.

if I didn't think the Universe would be better without our race.

I doubt it would matter to the universe at all, whether we lived or died.

Re: We missed it!

If the aliens come from space they don't need to nor want to collonize our planet, it would be pittifull, regretfull, and above all clanderable. if they came they came to say hello there is no need to infrastructure this planet for them they can adapt, they can put charms, they don't need this planet, they should go find somewhere else.

You should always think what you feel like thinking and stuff, I don't feel like i would venture out in space and kill everything, if i could venture that far out, I could probably colonize anything, why colonize the cute thing, it makes no sence, there is mars allready.

Re: We missed it!

1: I know, it just sounded suitable at the time. Considering, we are a very young race. Being a young race we only expect what is expected, we believe knowledge is limited when knowledge may possibly combine with imagination and unbelievable things. So much we do not know.
2: I know, but the Earth would be happier. Frankly, I think it's stupid for letting us evolve this far. If the Earth is happier, the universe is happier. But even if our race didn't exist it may not matter. Other races would continue to rule each other out. Although I think there would be an alternate reality if our race were never born. But of course the answer to all of this is 42, so I don't think it would matter anyway.

Re: We missed it!

Variation is muy more fun then one race, that's why I consider this planet more happy with the lifeforms specifique to this planet, and more if possible. That is to say one lifeform tree on every habitated planet. Or more, but that's like salmon eating all the other fishes.

Re: We missed it!

I went to the planetarium yesterday. I was in this projector dome, and watching a movie narrated by Harrison Ford. He said that at the centre of our galaxy is a giant black hole. And something about billions of planets orbiting the millions stars we see at night. And something about constellation stories and other life forms on these billions of 'exo-planets'. Just thought you'd like to know, since we're talking about the universe and things.

Why do we always think they come from outer space?

Re: We missed it!

See, I kind of have to disagree there danixoxo, Mathematics can prove a lot of stuff. And who's to say that there really is a "God"? God is almost a myth or legend as there is no possible way, at this stage in time mind you, to prove that there actually is a god.
"God" is just a theory. So we are more likely to prove the worlds end by mathematics then by waiting until God decides it is.
