1. A 4-meter ladder leans against a vertical wall. If the bottom of the ladder slides away from the wall at 0.3m/s. The sliding ladder makes an angle theta with the vertical wall at time t. Find the rate of increase of theta in degrees/s when the bottom of the ladder is 2 m away from the wall.



2.a) A spherical balloon is inflated at 80 cm/s. How fast is the radius r increasing in cm when r =20?

b) how fast is the surface area A in cm^2 increasing when r =20

its too easy. You have to derivate the Pitagora equation with respect to time t and thats all.
