My name is matt and im new here and I have a question. Really all I need is a way to figure this problem. The problem is how many different ways are there to make 12 points in basketball using the numbers 1 2 and 3 which are the only scoring options in basketball. I really need help and I know it is a large number over 100. Thank you for helping.

I count 19 ways:
111111111111
11111111112
1111111122
111111222
11112222
1122222
222222
1111111113
111111123
11111223
1112223
122223
11111133
1111233
112233
22233
111333
12333
3333

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
