Question: The sum of three numbers in A.P is 24 and their product is 440.Find the numbers.

(8-a) 8 (8+a) = 440
(64-8a)(8+a)=440
512-8aa+64a-64a=440
512-8aa = 440
512 - 440 = 8aa
72 = 8aa
9 = aa
a = 3
So (8-3)8(8+3)=440
(5)(8)(11)=440
5 times 88 = 440
