Can you show me what the percentages for:
28 out of 150
14 out of 150
27 out of 150
4 out of 150
39 out of 150
8 out of 150
9 out of 150
21 out of 150
??

In general, to convert a fraction into a percentage, you work out the decimal form and multiply that by 100.

28 out of 150 = 0.18666... and so that as a percentage is 18.6... %

There's a shortcut here though. In each case, you're dividing the first part by 150 and multiplying by 100, so that's the same as multiplying by 2/3.

28 * 2/3 = 18 2/3 = 18.6...
