sequencing

Write an equasion that describes each sequence. then find the indicated term

16,17,18,19...;23rd term

14,15,16,17...;16th term

7,9,11,13...33rd term

1,5,9,13...;89th term

3,8,13,16...;70th term

Re: sequencing

I'll do the first one, but the others are all the same (except the last, which I think has a typo).

16,17,18,19,...
The pattern in this sequence is that each term is one more than the previous one.
Therefore, the nth term of the sequence has 'n' in it (instead of 2n, 3n, etc.)

Each term is also 15 more than its term number, so the full expression for the nth term is n+15.
The 23rd term is therefore 23+15 = 38.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
