Kk i need help with volume, it has a cube with 9 lil squares on each side, so it has 54 squares in all. but if i follow the rule for volume and multiply 9x9 2 get 81, thats to much already. then if i do 81x9, thats like 700something, and if i just do 3x3x3, then i get 27. does anyone know how to get the volume? Thank u 4 ur help;)

the volume is width*height*depth = 9*9*9 = 729 units³
Where is your logic for getting 54?

Wings is talking about the number of squares that can be seen on the surface of the cube. There are 9 on each face and 6 faces, so 54 squares in all.
As luca said though, it's length width and height that matter when working out volume.
As there are 9 squares on each face, then all dimensions must be 3.
Therefore the volume is 3x3x3=27, as you said.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
