Anyone try to solve my signature?
Prove that half of 8 = 3 and half of 9 = 4
or half of 12 = 7.
This is kind of a lateral thinking problem.
Offline

Cutting 8 down the middle and taking the right-hand half gets you 3. Am I on the right track?
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
Offline

great mathsy, but the 9 and 12 maybe a challenge.

Mr. Anyman left Anytown by car to attend a wedding at Anycity. He had been driving for exactly two hours when the car got punctured. It took his  driver Anybody ten minutes to change the wheel. In order to play safe they covered the remaining distance at a speed of 30 mph. Consequently, Mr. Anyman was at the wedding half-an-hour behind schedule.
"Had the car got the puncture 30 miles later, I would have been only 15 minutes late" he told the driver.
How far is Anycity from Anytown?

You're getting it wrong.. I just wanted to say that Your approach and My approach are all the same! So there's no question of 'a simpler explanation' right?
Hope you got it..
