can someone please walk me through this problem? i've been trying to work through this for the past 5 hours and my brain is fried
3/4 5= 2/3
the x is located in between the 3/4 (the pc would not allow me to place it strategicaly so) and the other x is located between the 2/3.
hope that makes sense???

So I'm guessing your question is this:
To solve this, you first separate all terms with an x from the terms without one:
Then turn the two fractions on the left into one fraction:
Finally, get x on its own:
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

thank you so much for your responses but the x is placed in the middle of 3/4, so where the minus sign is, that's where the x is placed...does that make it clearer? sorry for the confusion...

Even then, it means the same as mathsyperson said..
It actually means 3/4 times x which is 3x/4
Hope u got it!!
