who owns the crock

Hi Iam in yr 5 (top maths class) and we had 2 do who owns a crock for a class thing and most of us took it home because we didnt have enough time . i think every 1 figured it out but with a bit of help from the teacher.
HOW CAN YR 5S DO THAT.

When I was in Year 5, I didn't know the puzzle existed 'cause it was like 6 years ago.
