note that (a²-1) can be written as (a+1)(a-1)

thus, the highest common factor of the three expressions is (a-1)
thus, the lowest common multiple is 3(a-1)×2(a-1)²×( a²-1)/(a-1)² = 6(a-1)(a²-1)

It is John.  6(a+1)(a-1)(a-1) = 6(a-1)(a^2-1), which is what luca said.
