So the problem is stated like:
A small hockey puck executes uniform circular motion on a flat, horizontal frictionless ice. The force causing the centripetal acceleration of the puck's motion is provided by a string of length 170 cm, tied at one end of the puck and at the other end to a stake punded into the ice at the center of the puck's circular motion. If the puck has a speed of 2 m/s, what is the tension in the string? The puck has a mass of 0.9 kg.
I always have prob with tension in string problems and dont know how to get it started...
