I've known all along who it is, actually. ^.^

They never told me what was there in my room.
Either they didn't believe in them, or they didn't want me to refuse to stay - a guest won't pay to sleep on a floor if that's all there is.
So, I chose a room. Oblivious. I don't like the dark; it holds no comfort and will not allow me to rest. My sleep becomes riddled with snaggered nightmares. Vividly, it twists the insides of my hotel room: shapeless objects become a person hunched down in the corner, and my coat hanging on its peg morphs itself into a headless fashion icon.
None of this is unusual. I'm always on the edge at night.

The fifth time I wake, the covers are high around me, it's almost claustrophobic. It's cold. I want to shiver but a feeling keeps me still. It's what you sense when someone enters a room silently behind you or advances on you when you're not alerted. I hear nothing. I want to swallow but I dare not make even that subtle noise. I often wake when I'm at home, feeling someone else is present. I turn, and always, always I'm the only one; sometimes shadows creep nearner or a noise seeps in my ears - but I'm always the only.
But here there's a presence for certain. I smell lavender. By day, the room smelt like freshly cut grass. I hold my breath, lie rigid. I can't close my eyes because I will be too tempted to open them again and see whoever it is that is watching me. I would give all my belongings to be at home right now. I need water. My throat burns and my mouth is dry.
I steel myself and sit up quickly. I was never prepared to actually see someone. Time stops. It must have heard my shuffling just then. Do I speak? Even move? I have visions of it grabbing me as I leap out of bed and run away for ever. To turn on the lamp by my bedside, I'll have to look away to find the switch. And produce noise. But I can't take my eyes away and I must be silent. I'm not breathing. The figure doesn't move. It sits still on the edge, hands centimetres from my feet. If I try to move them, will it grasp them through the blanket?
I'm reaching for the light, waiting for my wrist to be clamped down on by it. I grapple with the switch, still determined to not look away. The light erupts and it is gone.
Now, I wonder if I imagined it. I look around the room, it's all like it was before I went to sleep. I turn off the lamp and it is there. The head starts to turn. I turn on the lamp again in fear - it vanishes. Can I only see it in the dark? I don't want to turn off the lamp and see its ghostly face, if it has one. I don't want to be here. I pack swiftly still in the light, and leave early, regardless of my planned intention to stay here longer.
As I leave, I feel a hard stabbing through my ribs. I then see is a red stain that ruins my nightgown. Astounded by my bodily agony, I turn, and it is there, with a shining dagger in its right hand. My vision blurs, and the fatal weapon becomes a smudge of light. A pounding roar grows closer and closer as I try to stand, I stumble, the roar takes over, and the pain explodes.
I leave the Earth.

Sorry, I was being unclear.
I meant that you died first after Zach said that he knew who the murderer was.
Because of this, it was expected that Zach would be next to die as he was a threat.
But he wasn't...

True, but you could also be using that as an alibi.
As Roraborealis knows who the murderer is, she will most probably be posting in such a way as to shield their identity. Therefore, because she acted suspicious of you, it is implied that it is not you. Then again, she may be double-bluffing to throw off people like me who think too much.
I'm still confused as to why Zach hasn't died yet as he's a threat, but maybe the murderer's trying to make things more interesting by 'living on the edge' or something. Alternatively, as Zach is the only living person to post since his admission, it's perfectly possible that the murderer is blissfully unaware of their impending doom! Then again, it could be Zach... or not...
If I speculate much further, I'm going to get a bad headache, so I'll stop now.
