'New Posts'

I'm not really sure if this is a good suggestion or not, or if there is a way of fixing it, but anyway, I'll have a go...

When I turn up to this forum, blue boxes appear next to discussions with new posts, threads, whatever. Then if I leave the window open for a while, or log out of the forum all those boxes disappear even if I haven't read them yet.

Could the boxes possibly stay until you have read the post? (This is probably a really stupid question, but I'm not an expert on forums...) I know of another forum where 'new' posts stay new until you have read them, but I think you must have cookies enabled in your browser for that.

Does anyone feel the same way? Opinions, people...?

Re: 'New Posts'

Hmm..........I've never noticed that. I normally just go around looking for good places to talk.........

Anyway, I'm not sure as to how this can be solved. I'm not worthy of being mentioned in the same league as Rod (who's admin) or Zach (who seems to have efficient knowledge of computing).

My favourite bands are My Chemical Romance, The Used, and especially Green Day, but right now I am listening to my own recordings.

Re: 'New Posts'

Obviously, Mr. T is unaware of what a Goth is, either in historical standings or a social standing.

Plus, it has a face, just under the hood.

Well, you know what they say about maths and music... they both have an m.

Har de har!

But, wasn't Bach supposed to have based his compositions on mathematical harmony?
