Re: Roman Numeral Puzzle ;)

OK! So, there's a man. He's stuck in a room that's one metre thick of concrete in every direction. No doors, windows, just pure concrete. The only things in the room are an axe and a table. How does he get out?

Oh, and this puzzle is like katecaroline's, and the four shops one. The answer is impossible in real life.

Re: Roman Numeral Puzzle ;)

I think I know this one...but somebody can remove it if I get the answer...

The man gets the axe, cuts the table in half, two halves make a whole, so he jumps through and escapes!

But in my version of the joke, he doesn't have an axe. Instead, firstly he bangs his head on the wall to make it 'sore' and then saws the table in half.

I heard justlookingforthemoment's version, but after he's escaped, he shouts until his voice is hoarse and rides away!

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Roman Numeral Puzzle ;)

I also got that answer immediately – but (as I joined the Forum only fairly recently) by the time I saw this old thread for the first time, too many replies had already been posted to make showing-off worthwhile for me. tongue
