Understanding symbols in vectors and how to explain them...

TO break it down using words to describe

|A| = √<A|A>

So how would one describe or define the line between the two A's  as written A|A... What does that line mean in math?

|A| in Mathematics is Absolute value of A.
That is |-3|=3 and also |+3|=3.
|A| is also Modulus A in Vectors, also referred to as Mod A.
